Overview
"XUNKU: Di Renjie's Phantom Face and Burning Heart" is the core work of the XUNKU panoramic immersive film series. Using the images of illusory faces and burning hearts, the koan legend is integrated into digital images and character narratives, expanding the dimensions of the XUNKU project in terms of dramatic tension and visual concepts.
Concept
Let the classical koans enter the contemporary image language. Between fantasy and reality, the dramatic tension of cultural heritage is rewritten and legendary figures become digital images that can be seen and immersed into.
Method
Concept design, character images, scene settings and immersive narrative work in parallel; forming scalable films, exhibitions and visual assets to serve the continued development of the XUNKU film system.
